The meaning of home has evolved into a multitude of realities. Breakthrough technologies, commercialization, cultural barriers, and the need to fit in or stand out are all factors that have contributed to this change. We are leading the charge to change the business culture by coming from non-traditional backgrounds and rich cultural histories. Our non-traditional backgrounds have allowed us to expand and grow in the digital space. MAPPING THE EXPERIENCE
When I think back to my childhood, around four or five years old, I can still feel the spark of imagination that knew no limits. I wanted to be an inventor. I didn’t know it then, but that dream was quietly shaping my path toward becoming an Industrial Designer.
At the time, I had no mentors, no blueprint to follow—just a fascination with the Imagineers behind Disneyland and the brilliant minds who built LEGO Technic sets. They were my first glimpse into a world where creativity and engineering converged, and ideas took physical form.
I often wish I’d had a playbook back then, something to guide me through those endless experiments and daydreams. But in hindsight, the lack of structure was exactly what fueled my curiosity. I learned to observe, to collect ideas, whether they aligned with my interests or completely contradicted them—and to find meaning in the process of exploration itself.
Even as a child, I felt a deep pull toward creating systems and products that could impact more than just my own life. (Side note: my fascination with automation and manufacturing probably started earlier than it should have.)
That same tinkerer spirit still drives me today. Whether it’s reimagining customer pathways, developing user personas, or exploring emerging technologies, I’m constantly seeking to understand how innovation can shape more meaningful human experiences.
In short, my methods may have evolved, but my foundation remains unchanged: a relentless curiosity, a love for systems thinking, and a lifelong belief that creativity has no boundaries.
